Construction on our new finishing work center has continued through the rainiest year on record for the Meridian, Mississippi area. Despite ongoing weather challenges, the building is taking shape—105 foundation footers were poured, and all structural iron has been erected. With application of the roof sheeting complete, efforts will shift to focus on the exterior wall sheeting.
While exterior weather proofing continues, the team is moving forward inside on the foundations for the blast booth, paint booth, and the transfer table. Now that the blast booth concrete foundation and pit are complete, we are starting on the paint booth foundation and pit.
The foundations for the transfer table are about half way to completion. We are excited that a building is now standing in what used to be an open area of the plant.
